Van Driver – Temp to Perm

Full-Time | Agency Position | Temp-to-Perm

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Van Driver to join an established delivery operation covering the Southwest of England.

This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity, with a permanent position available for the right person following a successful temporary period.

The Role

• 04:30 start
• 14:00–16:00 finish
• Monday to Friday
• Southwest delivery routes, including Cornwall
• Delivering small sinks, shower panels and other housing products
• Deliveries are made to affordable housing projects
• Working directly with council-employed fitters on site
• Full training provided

You'll be responsible for getting the correct products to site safely and on time. You'll regularly meet the same fitters, allowing you to build strong working relationships and communicate directly where appropriate to help make future deliveries quicker, smoother and more efficient.

A Great Team Environment

The drivers work closely together and help each other out, particularly during the morning loading process. It's not an every-driver-for-themselves environment – the team work together to get the vans loaded and everyone on the road ready for the day.

Once you're established in the role, you'll become a familiar face to the customers and site teams you deal with, giving you the opportunity to take real ownership of your routes and deliveries.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and punctual
• A confident and responsible van driver
• Comfortable with very early starts
• Physically capable of handling deliveries
• Friendly and professional when dealing with customers
• Organised and able to manage their own deliveries
• A good team player
• Looking for a long-term opportunity

Previous experience in this type of delivery is not essential – full training will be provided.
