FAMILY LAW PARALEGAL, 3+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE, CHESHIRE - Develop Your Family Law Career with a Respected and Supportive Legal Practice

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Cheshire.

Working alongside experienced Family Lawyers, you will support a varied caseload while developing your own fee-earning experience within a friendly and supportive team.

The Role

You will provide hands-on support across a broad range of Family Law matters, with responsibilities including:

• Supporting solicitors with the management of their caseloads
• Undertaking fee-earning work under supervision
• Drafting applications, statements, correspondence and other legal documents
• Preparing cases and Court bundles
• Attending client meetings, conferences and hearings where appropriate
• Liaising with clients, Counsel and other professionals
• Managing deadlines, diaries and case progression
• Assisting with legal aid applications and billing
• Supporting business development and professional referral relationships

The Candidate

Applications are sought from Family Law Paralegals or Legal Assistants with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.

You will have:

• Strong experience within a Family Law team
• Good knowledge of family law procedures and processes
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A confident, personable and compassionate approach to client care
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
