SEND Case Officer – Fully Remote
Rate per day: £300 per day 
Working Arrangements: Full-Time, Remote Working

We are currently seeking an experienced SEND Case Officer to join a Pre-14 & Post-14 SEND Assessment, Planning and Review Team.

You will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and young people with SEND, coordinating the assessment, planning and review process and working closely with families, schools and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of SEND cases from assessment through to review.
• Coordinate EHCP assessments, annual reviews and key stage transfer processes.
• Support the identification and securing of appropriate educational placements.
• Work closely with schools, families and partner agencies.
• Ensure EHCP processes are completed within statutory timescales.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Significant experience working within a Local Authority SEND/EHCP team.
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory processes.
• Experience conducting annual reviews and key stage transfers.
• Experience of seeking and securing appropriate placements.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and work independently.
