Teaching Assistant Level 2

Our Lady of Lourdes is looking to appoint a teaching assistant to join our existing highly professional team. You will be required to work in our ASD Provision, working with pupils with complex special needs and offering support for the teacher. Applicants should be appropriately qualified or have relevant skills and expertise. Good attendance and punctuality, along with significant versatility and enthusiasm are essential. You will be expected to be supportive of the Catholic ethos of our school.

You will be required to work with and supervise individuals and groups of pupils under the direction of teaching and senior staff, supporting access to learning and promoting inclusion for all learners.

You will provide targeted support for pupils within a school environment, including those with additional learning needs, helping them to achieve their full academic, social, emotional and personal potential.

You will contribute to a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes high expectations, pupil wellbeing and positive behaviour.
