Our client is an established and growing stone and surface specialist based in Dubbo, servicing increasing demand across the region. They are seeking an experienced Stonemason to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of stone surface products, including engineered and natural stone, Dekton, marble and porcelain, with a strong focus on workplace safety and wet processing.

About the Role Working as part of an experienced team, you will be responsible for the processing, fabrication and finishing of stone products, including kitchen benchtops and bathroom vanities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Read and interpret plans and drawings to determine dimensions and stone requirements
- Cut, fabricate, install and finish stone benchtops and surfaces
- Process engineered and natural stone, Dekton, marble and porcelain
- Use machinery and equipment including Bridge Saw, CNC and Waterjet – training can be provided
- Perform cutting, grinding, polishing and laminating as required
- Repair and restore stone surfaces where required
- Liaise with Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on time
- Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail
- Follow all WHS requirements and safe work practices, including high-level silica safety procedures
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience processing and/or installing stone benchtops
- A Certificate III in Stonemasonry is preferred but not essential
- Minimum 2 years' experience in stonemasonry or stone benchtop processing
- Experience working with engineered and/or natural stone
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- A positive and reliable work attitude
- Current driver's licence
- Construction White Card
- Full-time, permanent position
