Cover Supervisor

Randstad Education is proud to partner with a high-achieving Multi-Academy Trust with schools across London. We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisor to support their secondary school sites located in or near Cryodon.

This is the perfect role for someone who thrives on variety and is looking for a foot in the door at one of the UK's most respected educational networks. As an "on-the-day" specialist, you will be the hero who steps in to ensure learning never stops.

Unlike traditional teaching, there is no planning or marking involved. Your primary focus is classroom management and student engagement.

• Be Ready: Be available for early morning calls (7:00 AM - 8:00 AM) for same-day cover.

• Lead: Deliver pre-prepared lessons across the curriculum (Maths to Music, Science to Sociology).

• Manage: Ensure the school's behavior policy is followed, maintaining a calm and productive environment.

• Collaborate: Work alongside a supportive school leadership team within the MAT framework.

• Ultimate Flexibility: This role is specifically for those who can accept bookings on short notice.

• Presence: A confident, "take-charge" personality with the ability to build rapport quickly with teenagers.

• Background: Experience working with children (coaching, youth work, or tutoring) is highly desirable.

• Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
