Contract Duration: 12 Months
The Opportunity
Join a leading UK Telecommunications provider developing next-generation home connectivity devices. In this role, you will build automated tests for smart routers, Wi-Fi extenders, and 4G/5G backup hubs that power millions of connected homes and businesses across the UK.
What You'll Do
- Automate Testing: Design and develop automated test scripts for embedded hardware, firmware, and client apps.
- Solve Complex Issues: Diagnose and resolve high-impact, cross-domain network and hardware issues.
- Agile Collaboration: Work within a dedicated delivery squad alongside hardware, software, and networking engineers.
- Quality Assurance: Provide technical QA guidance and support continuous delivery pipelines.
What You Need
- Automation: Strong proficiency in Robot Framework and Python.
- Systems & Tools: Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, VMs, Git, and Jira.
- Networking Knowledge: Understanding of Home Gateway/Broadband technologies (Wi-Fi, FTTP, xDSL, IPv4/IPv6, 4G/5G).
- Agile Mindset: Proven track record working in Scrum/Agile environments.
