Doncaster Children's Services are seeking experienced and dedicated Social Workers to join a range of teams on fixed-term contracts lasting between 3 and 12 months.

We are looking for qualified Social Workers who are registered with Social Work England and have experience working within Children's Services, including safeguarding, child protection, children in need, and/or looked after children.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing complex caseloads and delivering effective interventions for children and families.
• Completing statutory assessments, risk assessments, and Section 47 investigations.
• Developing and implementing child-centred plans to achieve positive outcomes.
• Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
• Preparing and presenting high-quality reports for meetings, reviews, and court proceedings where required.
• Applying sound professional judgement to inform decision-making and risk management.

About you:

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Proven experience within Children's Services.
• Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
• Confident managing complex cases and making evidence-based decisions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Committed to delivering high-quality, child-focused practice.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
