OR114467 – Business Analyst

Work pattern: First full month in the office and then possibility of hybrid. 3 days at home and 2 day in the office, 36 hour per week 

PAYE Pay Rate: £175.88 per day

Job Purpose

To support the Council’s project by providing specialist knowledge and practical experience of the NEC system. The successful candidate will work with internal teams to ensure the NEC system is used effectively and supports the successful delivery of the project.

Typical Day

• Working with Council teams to support the implementation and use of the NEC system.
• Using NEC to manage, update and maintain relevant information and records.
• Supporting users with NEC system queries and resolving issues where possible.
• Reviewing and processing information within the system.
• Ensuring data is accurate, complete and up to date.
• Working with project teams to improve processes and system use.
• Providing guidance and support to colleagues using NEC.
• Identifying system or process issues and escalating where required.
• Producing reports and updates from the NEC system.
• Maintaining confidentiality and following Council procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience using NEC is essential.
• Good understanding of NEC system functionality and processes.
• Experience working on projects involving NEC.
• Strong IT and data management skills.
• Ability to analyses information and identify issues.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience within a local authority or public-sector environment would be desirable.

Key Requirement

Candidates MUST have demonstrable knowledge and practical experience of the NEC system.
