Job Title: EMEA Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer
Location: Netherlands – EU Passport needed
Salary: £65,000
Are you an EMEA Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer looking for your next opportunity? As an EMEA Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, testing, and handover of fire alarm systems across multiple sites throughout the EMEA region, working with commercial, industrial, and critical infrastructure clients. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Commission, test, and verify fire alarm systems across EMEA sites in accordance with relevant standards and project specifications.
* Carry out fault diagnosis and resolution on fire alarm systems, ensuring all issues are identified and rectified prior to handover.
* Produce and maintain accurate commissioning documentation, test records, and handover certificates.
* Liaise with project managers, site teams, and end clients to coordinate commissioning activities and ensure project milestones are met.
* Support the training and technical guidance of junior engineers or site teams where required.
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local and international fire safety regulations and company health and safety policies.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3 years' experience commissioning fire alarm systems in a commercial or industrial environment.
* Hands-on experience with major fire alarm panel manufacturers, with Gent commissioning training being desirable.
* Proven ability to work independently across multiple sites in an international or EMEA-wide capacity.
* Strong understanding of fire alarm standards and codes, including EN 54 and BS 5839 or equivalent.
* Full driving licence required for site-based travel across the region.
* FIA or equivalent fire industry qualification (desirable).
