TSR Legal are delighted to be working with a growing law firm with a strong presence across Monmouthshire and the surrounding areas, who are looking to make an appointment of a Commercial Property Paralegal to join their team in Monmouth.

With offices across Monmouth, Ross-on-Wye and the surrounding area, the firm has continued to grow its client base and is investing in its teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal looking to develop their career within Commercial Property and gain exposure to a varied caseload.

The Role

Working closely with the firm’s Commercial Property solicitors, you will provide support across a broad range of transactions and assist with the progression of matters from instruction through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting solicitors with a varied caseload of commercial property matters.
• Assisting with acquisitions, disposals, leases and lease renewals.
• Preparing and drafting legal documentation and correspondence.
• Undertaking legal research where required.
• Reviewing and organising property documentation.
• Assisting with due diligence and transaction processes.
• Liaising with clients, agents and other professionals.
• Carrying out Land Registry and Companies House searches.
• Preparing reports and documentation for completion.
• Maintaining accurate electronic files and case management records.
• Supporting solicitors with the day-to-day progression of transactions.

About You

The firm is looking for a Commercial Property Paralegal or Legal Assistant who is keen to develop within this area of law.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience within a legal environment, ideally Commercial Property.
• A genuine interest in developing a career within commercial property.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• A proactive and practical approach to your work.
• Confidence dealing with clients and professional contacts.
• A willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
