Lift Kingswood are seeking a passionate and committed PE Teacher to join our team and help further strengthen our exceptional provision.

About the role
As a PE Teacher at Kingswood Academy , you'll create a learning environment where all students feel supported and encouraged. You'll plan engaging lessons, track student progress, and provide helpful feedback. Working closely with colleagues, pastoral staff, and parents, you'll help meet the needs of every student and build their confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and teach lessons that engage students and build understanding
- Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND, high ability, and EAL
- Use assessment and feedback to help students reflect on their progress and close any gaps
- Build a positive classroom culture with clear routines and high expectations for behaviour
- Work with colleagues, parents, and support staff to create the best outcomes for every student
We are looking for someone who
- Have QTS, or are currently training and due to achieve QTS by September 2026 or hold a degree in a sport discipline and would like to transition into teaching through our in-house Instructor training route, leading to securing qualified teacher status within two years. Helping Lift Kingswood to develop the next generation of great teachers.
