WS6, Great Wyrley, Staffordshire Bolt Master Data & BOM Controller Location: Walsall Salary: £33,000–£38,000 Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:15, Friday 08:00–12:00 About the Role BOLT Technical are recruiting for a Master Data & BOM Analyst to join a growing electrical manufacturing business. This role is primarily focused on high-volume BOM creation and accurate data entry, supporting the engineering team and freeing up engineers to focus on production engineering. You’ll take customer BOMs, often containing 2,000–3,000+ lines, convert them into an internal quoting tool and then manually input the data line-by-line into the ERP system. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a data-focused mindset, exceptional attention to detail and experience creating complex, multi-level BOMs. Key Responsibilities * Create and maintain complex, multi-level BOMs * Convert large customer BOMs into internal systems * Accurately enter high volumes of data into ERP systems * Ensure item and BOM data is accurate and complete * Work closely with Engineering to support production requirements * Identify and resolve data discrepancies * Support the development of master data processes and standards * Opportunity to develop into ECN/change control and MRP support What We're Looking For * Previous experience creating multi-level BOMs * Proven experience handling high-volume BOM/data entry * Electrical or electronic manufacturing background essential * Experience working with ERP systems * Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy * Strong Excel and data-handling skills * Comfortable with repetitive, high-volume work * Analytical and methodical approach What's on Offer * £33,000–£38,000 salary * 25 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off * 5% pension * Health Cash Plan & Critical Illness Cover * Death in Service * Supportive, growing manufacturing business * Opportunity to develop into Change Control and MRP By applying for this position, you confirm that you have read and understood our Data Privacy Statement and give Bolt Technical authorisation to hold your provided data.
