Polam Hall School wishes to appoint enthusiastic and experienced individuals to the following posts:

Brass Teacher

Woodwind Teacher (Flute and/or Clarinet specialists, other woodwind also considered)

Harp Teacher

Polam Hall School seeks to expand the instrumental lesson provision through the appointment of inspiring and experiences Instrumental Teachers, who will teach Brass, Woodwind and/or Harp to our Junior and Senior School pupils. The successful candidate will be a gifted performer in their own right; have a passion for music with the ability to inspire, coach and motivate pupils to perform to a high standard and achieve their full potential.

This is a self-employed role where the teacher will invoice and receive payment from parents directly. There may be the opportunity for additional paid work for assistance in our co-curricular ensembles and performances. All self-employed teachers are responsible for organising their own timetable. Self-employed music teachers will work alongside the Head of Faculty for Expressive Arts and the Music Department team.

It is envisaged that approximately 1 hour per week during term time is required, with the potential for growth. The lesson rate is set at £32 per hour and are usually taught in 30 minute 1 to 1 lessons.
