Year 2 Teacher – Full-Time

Location: DN1
Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week
Start Date: Within the next few weeks
Duration: Long-term, with potential to become permanent

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the DN1 area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Key Stage 1 teacher who is passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. You will take responsibility for planning and delivering high-quality lessons while working closely with the wider school team.

The successful candidate will have strong classroom management skills, high expectations of pupils and the ability to build positive relationships quickly.

The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1
• Strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum
• Excellent classroom management
• A creative and engaging approach to teaching
• A commitment to supporting every child’s progress
