Youth Support Worker
Location: Birkenhead, CH42
Salary: £27,999 - £29,428 per annum
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week
We are recruiting for a Youth Support Worker to join a specialist residential service supporting young adults aged 16-30. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Youth Support Worker who is passionate about helping young people develop independence, confidence, and life skills.
The Role
As a Youth Support Worker, you will:
- Support young adults in line with their individual support plans.
- Encourage independence and develop essential life skills.
- Build positive relationships with young people and partner agencies.
- Support individuals with education, employment, training, and daily living goals.
- Safeguard young people and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute to support plans, reviews, and risk assessments.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Youth Support Worker, Support Worker, Residential Support Worker, or within a similar care setting.
- Understanding of safeguarding and supporting vulnerable young people.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A resilient, reliable, and compassionate approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
