About the role
Change ManagerLocation: London – 2–3 days per week in the officeRate: £500–£585 per day (Inside IR35)Contract: 6 months initially, with the wider programme running for 24 monthsClearance: Active SC clearance requiredStart: Approximately 6–7 weeks subject to security clearance transferThe OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Change Manager to join a large-scale transformation programme delivering new products and services across a global organisation. This is a hands-on change role focused on supporting products through go-live, driving adoption and embedding sustainable change across distributed teams.A key part of the role will be working alongside client teams with varying levels of change maturity. You will not only deliver the change activity yourself, but also coach and upskill client teams, helping them build the confidence and capability to manage change independently. The environment is highly collaborative and evolving, so you'll need to be comfortable working with ambiguity and helping shape the change approach as products move through the rollout schedule. What You'll Be DoingOwn change impact assessments and change plans for allocated products.Develop and deliver change and training plans aligned to a rolling programme of product go-lives.Design and implement appropriate change interventions to support adoption.Establish adoption measurement approaches and track progress through implementation and beyond.Work closely with multidisciplinary product and technical teams to embed change throughout the delivery lifecycle.Coach and support client teams to apply change management interventions independently.Provide hands-on guidance, shadowing and on-the-job development to build client change management capability.Adapt change approaches to different audiences, teams and levels of organisational maturity.Work collaboratively with product, technology, delivery and business stakeholders to ensure successful adoption.Support change activity across a globally distributed user base, including teams operating across different countries and locations.Continuously refine the change approach based on feedback, adoption data and lessons learned.Help establish sustainable change practices that remain effective after implementation and handover. What We're Looking ForWe're looking for a confident, practical Change Manager who enjoys being close to delivery rather than operating purely at a strategic level. You'll ideally bring:Proven experience delivering change across complex transformation or product-led environments.Experience managing change through product or technology go-lives.Strong experience with change impact assessments, change plans, training and adoption interventions.Experience working within technical or multidisciplinary delivery teams.A collaborative approach and strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to build trust quickly across different stakeholder groups.Experience working in environments where the change methodology or approach needs to be developed and adapted as the programme progresses.Strong coaching and capability-building skills, with experience upskilling client teams through shadowing, mentoring and on-the-job coaching.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to work effectively with ambiguity and changing priorities.Experience working with geographically distributed or global teams would be highly advantageous.Prosci certification is highly desirable.Active SC clearance is essential. The Ideal CandidateYou'll be someone who can move comfortably between doing, advising and coaching.Rather than simply producing change documentation, you'll be expected to get involved in the detail of implementation — working with product teams, understanding the impact of new services, developing interventions, measuring adoption and helping teams embed new ways of working. You should enjoy working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, rather than operating as a standalone change consultant.Experience working across international or globally distributed organisations would be particularly valuable, as the products being delivered will be adopted by users operating across multiple locations worldwide. Why Join?Work on a significant, long-term transformation programme.Play a key role in taking new products through go-live and adoption.Work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary product environment.Have genuine influence over how change management is approached and delivered.Develop the capability of client teams rather than simply delivering change on their behalf.Opportunity for the initial 6-month contract to sit within a wider 24-month programme. If you're an SC-cleared Change Manager with strong hands-on delivery experience, a coaching mindset and experience supporting technology or product change through go-live, we'd be keen to hear from you.
