We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive SEND team within a secondary school setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop a rewarding career supporting students with a range of additional learning needs.
The Role

Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) both in and out of the classroom.
Assisting pupils to access learning and reach their full potential.
Encouraging independence, confidence and positive engagement with learning.
Working closely with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored support.
Building positive relationships with students to support both their academic and emotional development.

The Ideal Candidate

Patient, caring and empathetic.
Confident working with young people.
Able to remain calm and adaptable in a busy school environment.
A strong communicator and team player.
Passionate about supporting students to succeed.
Previous experience working with children, young people, or individuals with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
