Food Service Assistant

BSNI are working with a leading company in Loughbrickland to recruit a Food Service Assistant. This role involves supporting the daily operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food preparation, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel settings is desired.

Salary £12.71 phr.

Hours: Day shift. Shifts may vary. Need to be fully flexible.

As and when required. Temporary work.

PLEASE NOTE: 1 years experience is required as a Food Service Assistant.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards
Serve meals and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
Uphold food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly
Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all tasks
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills

Experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is desired.
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to perform meal preparation and basic cooking tasks effectively
Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and phone etiquette
Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy setting
Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the food service environment, including serving, barista duties, or kitchen assistance
