This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about technology and enjoys inspiring students to develop their digital skills, computational thinking and understanding of computer science. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons across a range of ICT and/or Computer Science topics. You will encourage students to develop both their practical skills and theoretical understanding, helping them to become confident and responsible users and creators of technology. Position: ICT / Computer Science Teacher Location: Nottingham Start Date: ASAP Pay: Competitive daily rate (depending on experience and qualifications) The Successful Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about ICT, Computer Science and education. An engaging and inspirational classroom practitioner. Confident teaching students with a range of abilities. Creative in their approach to teaching and learning. Organised, enthusiastic and committed to achieving high standards. Confident using a range of educational and digital technologies. Able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues. Committed to inclusion, safeguarding and student wellbeing. Keen to contribute to the wider life and development of the department. QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification is desirable.
