Graphic Designer & Content Creator – Birmingham

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer & Content Creator to join our well-established client based in Birmingham on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional who enjoys a varied role combining graphic design, photography, videography and social media content creation.

Based from the Birmingham site, you will travel to locations across the UK, as well as visiting customers and suppliers, to create engaging content that supports marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions and brand development.

This role would be suitable for candidates with experience as a Graphic Designer, Content Creator or Social Media Content Creator..

Rates of Pay:

• £32,000 – £38,000 per annum, depending on experience

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 09:00 – 17:00
• Full-time permanent position
• UK-wide travel required
• Occasional overnight stays may be required

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a Graphic Designer & Content Creator, you will work:

• Designing eye-catching graphics, marketing materials, promotional content and digital assets
• Creating engaging content for social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
• Filming high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, promotions and product launches
• Capturing professional photography for digital and print marketing materials
• Editing and producing video content from concept through to final delivery
• Creating short-form content including Reels, Stories and promotional videos
• Travelling to company locations across the UK to capture original content
• Attending customer, supplier and brand-related shoots
• Producing content showcasing products, services, operations and company activities
• Developing creative concepts and contributing innovative ideas for future campaigns
• Monitoring social media trends and identifying opportunities for new content
• Supporting brand awareness and audience engagement initiatives
• Ensuring all content aligns with company branding and marketing objectives

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Graphic Designer & Content Creator, you will need:

• Previous experience within graphic design and digital content creation
• A strong portfolio demonstrating design, photography, videography and social media content
• Experience creating content specifically for TikTok and Instagram
• Strong graphic design skills with excellent visual awareness
• Photography and videography experience
• Video editing experience
• A strong understanding of short-form social media content
• Excellent creative judgement and attention to detail
• The ability to manage projects from initial concept through to final production
• Ability to work independently and generate creative ideas
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK

Desirable Experience:

• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Experience creating content for retail, wholesale, manufacturing or product-led businesses
• Experience producing content within warehouse or operational environments
• Experience developing and managing social media campaigns
• Knowledge of current social media trends and platform best practice
• Experience creating both B2B and B2C marketing content
