We are looking to appoint an Educational Support Assistant - Admissions and Parental Communication
School: Swindon Academy
Job Title: Educational Support Assistants - Admissions
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Mon to Fri)
Contract Type: Perm, term time plus 2 weeks in summer holidays ( around A Level and GCSE results)
Salary: £26,962 - £27,962 FTE per annum (actual £21,196 - £21,982) increasing to maximum of £28,962 FTE per annum (actual £22,768) after 6 months in role & successful probation sign off.

Swindon Academy is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual who will provide admin assistance to the academy SLT teams. In addition to providing SLT admin support you will be responsible for the following areas under the direction and leadership of the Educational Support Officer and work as a Team to ensure that all areas are supported as necessary.
In this role you will be:
- Confidential secretary and Personal Assistant to either the Principal or Secondary Head Teacher
- Undertake confidential and non-confidential administration for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Effectively manage internal projects on behalf of the senior leadership team
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
Admissions & Parental Communications Support Assistant:
- Work with Swindon Borough Council Admissions Team
- Handle all stakeholder and parent enquiries regarding admissions
- Manage all aspects of general admissions to the Academy
- Manage In year admissions to the Academy
- Manage the admission process of year 7 and reception children into the Academy
- Assist in managing student recruitment events
- Liaise with SBC regarding appeals
- Handle complaints that the school may receive from all stakeholders
- Manage all parent communication to the Principal
- Manage all communication from the Principal to parents and stakeholders.
- Ensure that Academy Policies are kept up to date and stored and shared as appropriate
- Manage FoI requests that relate to students.
