Packing Team Leader

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised contract packing business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £13.71 per hour. The role of Contract Packing Team Leader is based in Syston.

• 06:00 to 14:00

• From £13.71 per hour
• Paid weekly

• Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of contract packing operators and temporary staff.
  • Ensure packing lines meet daily production targets and customer deadlines.
  • Monitor product quality and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Conduct line start-ups, changeovers, and end-of-shift procedures.
  • Train and coach team members on operational procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
  • Complete production reports, KPI tracking, and shift documentation accurately.
  • Investigate and report quality, safety, and production issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in accordance with company policies.
  • Liaise with warehouse, production, quality, and planning teams to ensure smooth operations.
