Security Design Engineer

Role: Security Design Engineer
Location: Remote with some UK, EMEA travel.

We are working in partnership with an award-winning security engineering company who design, build and manage enterprise-level security systems for their clients globally. We are recruiting for a Security Design Engineer to join their team due growth and new contract wins. This role will be a remote position day-to-day with some expected travel across the UK, EMEA. 
 

Preparing electronic security designs in line with standards for global clients in multiple time zones. 

Technical design of security systems, including layout plans, hardware specifications and integration requirements.
Conducting site surveys where applicable.
Quoting, estimating on values up to £2m.

Collaborate with internal applications team and/or systems integrators to allow delivery of systems programming and testing and commissioning of installed systems 

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices 

Requirements:

At least 3 years’ experience as a Security Design Engineer, either for an Integrator or Consultancy.
Experience working with enterpriselevel Access Controls systems such as C-Cure, Lenel, Genetec etc.
