Senior Full Stack Java / Vue.js Engineer – Contract

Location: UK – Fully Remote
Rate: Up to £500 per day
IR35: Outside IR35
Duration: 6 months initially

I’m looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Java / Vue.js Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team on an initial 6-month contract.

This is a hands-on development role where you’ll be working across both backend and frontend technologies, contributing to the delivery and evolution of a complex, business-critical platform.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for designing, developing and delivering high-quality software across the full technology stack, working closely with other engineers, architects and stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking ownership of technical challenges, contributing to architectural decisions and working within an engineering environment where quality, reliability and security are critical.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Java
• Excellent experience with Vue.js
• Strong full-stack development background
• Experience building and maintaining complex, scalable applications
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and modern software development practices
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD and source control
• Comfortable working in an Agile engineering environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Essential Experience

Experience working on highly regulated financial systems or within iGaming / betting is essential.

You’ll need to have experience operating in environments where security, compliance, reliability and regulatory requirements are fundamental to software delivery.
