Pertemps are currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join a manufacturing business based in Southampton. Our client is looking for a technically minded and driven individual to join their team who takes pride in their craftsmanship.
Responsibilities as a CNC Machinist:
- Working closely with the in-house design and production team, bringing ideas to life
- Working on unique one-off projects
- Using a mix of traditional craftsmanship and cutting edge CNC/ CAD machinery
- Using both the 5 Axis and 3 Axis machines
- Programming and operating the CNC machines
- Working with 3D CAD to bring ideas to life
Requirements:
- Proven CNC experience
- Engineering mindset
- Excellent hands-on skills, whether its tools, machines or materials
- Understanding of 3D CAD
- Excellent eye for detail and natural problem solver
The CNC Machinist Role:
- Monday – Friday, 8am – 5.30pm
- £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
