About the role
Zest Education have been working closely with several secondary schools located across Nottingham and have had a remarkably high demand for Early Career Teachers (ECT’s). Roles required include day to day cover, sho2010rt-term or long-term placements to start ASAP in this new academic year.

We have schools in Nottingham city centre, Beeston, Carlton, Hyson Green, Keyworth, West Bridgford and Woodthorpe who work with Zest Education on a regular basis.
General supply Teaching enables applicants to decide which days they would like to work and is extremely flexible around each individuals’ current commitments.
The successful applicant will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for his/her subjects and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Good time management and ICT skills
Excellent rates of pay are available starting from £140 per day. Pay to scale is available after a qualifying period of 12 weeks or if you are undertaking the full role. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
