Finance Assistant – Purchase Ledger Bridlington | Up to £28,000

Castle Employment Group are currently working with a fantastic business based in Bridlington, who are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team.

This is a Purchase Ledger-focused role, so previous experience within Purchase Ledger is essential. We’re looking for someone who is confident in their abilities and able to hit the ground running.

The Role As Finance Assistant, you will primarily be responsible for the Purchase Ledger function, supporting the wider finance team and ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of financial transactions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  
  
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation
  
  
• Dealing with supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
  
  
• Maintaining accurate supplier records
  
  
• Processing payments and assisting with supplier statement reconciliations
  
  
• Supporting the wider finance team with general finance administration
  
  
• Ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date
  
  

About You The successful candidate will have:

• Previous Purchase Ledger experience – essential
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  
  
• Good organisational and time management skills
  
  
• Confidence working within a busy finance environment
  
  
• The ability to work independently and hit the ground running
  
  
• Good communication skills and a professional approach
