About the role

Greenfields Academy is a specialist school for pupils aged 5-16 with complex SEMH needs (Social, Emotional, Mental Health). As part of a family of schools within CIT, Greenfields can draw on the expertise across the Trust and central team to provide the highest levels of education and care for our pupils.

Our intent is to support pupils and their families to gradually overcome the barriers to education they have encountered and enable confident access to future opportunities; however and whenever they arise. We value academic and pastoral progress equally and pupils access a diverse range of interventions to support their additional needs.

Highly trained adults and experienced school leaders support pupils through an embedded behaviour curriculum, which is founded in the principle that positive behaviour is learned

The school is part of CIT (Community Inclusive Trust), a Multi Academy Trust comprising of special and mainstream primary schools across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
