BMS Controls Engineer

We’re working with a well-established BMS business that is entering its next phase of growth and looking for an experienced BMS Engineer to strengthen its team across West Sussex and the South Coast. This isn’t a role where you’ll be pigeonholed into doing the same thing every day. You’ll get involved across service, commissioning and small works, taking ownership of your jobs and working with a business that values strong engineers and gives them the freedom to get on with what they do best. The Role You’ll be working across a varied portfolio of sites throughout West Sussex, the South Coast and surrounding areas, supporting customers with everything from fault finding and servicing through to commissioning and delivering smaller BMS projects. Your work will include: BMS service, maintenance and fault finding Commissioning and optimisation of control systems Delivering small works and upgrade projects Working predominantly with Trend and Tridium Liaising directly with customers and building strong relationships Identifying improvements and opportunities across existing sites Supporting a growing business as it continues to develop its technical offering Who Are We Looking For? You’ll already have solid experience working within the BMS industry and be comfortable operating independently in the field. Ideally, you’ll have: Strong Trend experience Experience with Tridium / Niagara A background in BMS service and/or commissioning Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability The confidence to manage your own workload and deal directly with customers A desire for a varied role rather than being stuck doing one type of work Location-wise, Horsham, Crawley, West Sussex or the surrounding South Coast area would be ideal, allowing you to service customers across the region without the constant commute into London.
