The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of works across projects within the National Grid framework.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company delivering critical infrastructure projects across the UK. You'll play a key role in managing site activities, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring successful project delivery within live operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across National Grid projects
• Oversee the delivery of M&E, civils, and fit-out works
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
• Ensure compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and industry regulations
• Manage RAMS, permits, site documentation, and reporting requirements
• Drive programme delivery, quality standards, and productivity targets
• Liaise with client representatives and key stakeholders
• Promote a strong safety-first culture across all site activities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within utilities, power, energy, infrastructure, or construction sectors
• Strong background managing a combination of:
  • M&E works
  • Civil engineering works
  • Fit-out projects
• Experience working within live or safety-critical environments
• Excellent knowledge of HSE legislation and compliance requirements
• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• SMSTS, First Aid, and relevant site management certifications preferred
