Cost Administrator

We're currently recruiting for 2 Cost Administrators to join a major infrastructure and energy project based in North Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy commercial team on a large-scale site, providing essential administrative and cost control support throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role

As a Cost Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the commercial function by ensuring labour and subcontractor costs are accurately captured and reconciled.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting commercial teams with cost capture and reconciliations
• Reviewing and validating subcontractor timesheets and labour claims
• Comparing paper timesheets against submitted hours and invoices
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting documentation
• Identifying discrepancies and resolving queries with site and commercial teams
• Supporting day-to-day commercial administration activities

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who isn't afraid to ask questions and challenge information where necessary.

Applicants should have:

• Previous administration experience within a commercial, finance, payroll, projects, construction, utilities, or infrastructure environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience working with timesheets, labour records, cost data, or invoicing
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
