Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and professional Gate-man to join our team in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling access to the site, maintaining site security, and ensuring that all visitors, contractors, and deliveries are managed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the site.
• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers.
• Maintain accurate records of all site entries and exits.
• Operate gates, barriers, and access control systems.
• Monitor CCTV systems and report any suspicious activity.
• Carry out regular security patrols as required.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
• Report incidents, accidents, or security breaches promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Gateman, Security Officer, or Gatehouse Operative is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining visitor and vehicle logs.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance.
• Right to work in the UK.
