Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong carpentry background to join a growing facilities and maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

The Role

Working across a portfolio of hospitality and commercial properties, you will be responsible for carrying out fire door inspections, repairs, maintenance and associated carpentry works, ensuring all work complies with current legislation and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out fire door maintenance, repairs and remedial works.
• Complete general carpentry and building maintenance tasks.
• Assess works required and prepare quotations for labour and materials.
• Liaise directly with clients and explain technical requirements when needed.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current fire safety regulations.
• Complete certification and associated compliance documentation.
• Maintain accurate job records, notes and photographs using company systems.
• Support contract and billing teams with job-related queries and information.

About You

• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong background in carpentry, maintenance and repair works.
• Knowledge of fire door regulations, inspections and remedial works.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer-facing abilities.
• Comfortable using digital systems to maintain records and documentation.
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
