We are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Officer to join a busy housing team in Birmingham on a minimum 3 month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive housing officer to manage a varied patch and deliver a high quality housing management service.

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated housing patch, providing a customer focused housing service.
• Conduct tenancy visits and estate inspections.
• Investigate and resolve tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour, and neighbourhood issues.
• Support tenancy sustainment and ensure compliance with tenancy agreements.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Housing Officer is essential
• Strong knowledge of tenancy management, anti-social behaviour, and housing legislation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively.
• Access to a vehicle for business use
