ASAP Start
We are currently seeking a Janitor for work in a School in Crieff. This is a 12 week temporary contract with option to move into a permanent contract after.
The work will be rota based 37 hours hours a week over the following shift patterns:
Early Shift 07:00 - 16:00
Lates Shift 13:00 - 22:00
Weekend Shift 07:00 - 18:00 - One weekend per month
Main duties will be:
- Fire alarm testing
- Opening/Locking up
- Assisting cleaning team
- Small planned maintenance tasks, including escorting contractors
- Maintenance of daily staff attendance records/ signing in book
- Preparing halls and rooms for a range of uses
- Snow clearance and gritting
- Ensuring graffiti is removed or covered as soon as possible
- On call - emergency out of hours response maybe required
Full training on duties will be given, however previous experience in Janitorial role or Building caretaker role is advantageous.
Work is in a school so you must be able to pass a PVG Criminal record check before starting. We will put you through this.
