We are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Officer to join a busy housing team delivering high-quality tenancy and neighbourhood management services.

The Role

As a Housing Officer, you will manage a designated patch of properties, ensuring tenancies are sustained while delivering a customer focused housing management service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting tenancy visits, property inspections, and estate walkabouts.
• Managing tenancy breaches and supporting enforcement where required.
• Working with residents to resolve tenancy related issues and sustain successful tenancies.
• Supporting new tenancies, sign-ups, mutual exchanges, and tenancy changes.
• Delivering excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with housing legislation

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience working as a Housing Officer, Neighbourhood Officer or Tenancy Services Officer is essential
• Strong knowledge of tenancy management and housing legislation.
• Experience managing anti social behaviour cases and tenancy enforcement.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• The ability to work independently and prioritise a varied workload.
• Strong IT skills and experience using housing management systems.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
