About the role
I am currently recruiting for a Site Manager for a main contractor based in London. The Main Contractor primarily builds within government, education and healthcare sectors within London and the Home Counties with project values ranging between £1 - £5 million in value and projects are a mixture of new build, refurbishment, and fit out projects.
The project is a £1.5 million refurbishment project within a Central London Government building with works including 2 new lift shafts & a full office refurbishment works. The project starts on the 6th July and will run for 12 months.
The project will initially be on day shifts for the first 3 weeks and then it will be going to a night shift with the hours being 8pm to 5am.
The Candidate - must be capable of delivering the project standalone reporting into a visiting contract manager and be able to do sequencing, short term programming, trade management, site inductions, raise permits, tool box talks, work to tight deadlines, influence H&S on site, Q/A etc.
The candidate needs to be SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid qualified and must be SC cleared.
My client are looking to pay a competitive day rate.
