About the role

M&E Project Manager - Healthcare Refurbishment

We are working in partnership with a leading facilities and engineering services provider delivering capital works, refurbishment, and technical programmes across one of the UK's most complex and high-profile healthcare estates.

Due to continued investment and a strong pipeline of works, we are looking to engage with experienced M&E Project Managers to oversee refurbishment and infrastructure projects within a busy acute hospital environment in West London.

This is a hands-on delivery role within a live clinical setting, requiring strong technical understanding, excellent coordination, and the ability to manage works safely with minimal disruption to patient care.

The Role

  • Deliver M&E refurbishment and infrastructure projects across a live hospital estate
  • Manage projects from planning through to completion within a wider £15m programme
  • Coordinate subcontractors, engineers, and specialist providers
  • Ensure works are delivered safely within live clinical environments
  • Work closely with estates teams, clinical staff, and senior stakeholders
  • Support programme reporting, planning, and risk management
  • Ensure compliance with HTMs, CDM regulations, and healthcare standards

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience delivering M&E or building services projects
  • Background within healthcare or live, critical environments (highly desirable)
  • Strong understanding of refurbishment works in operational buildings
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades
  • Familiarity with HTM standards and healthcare compliance
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work alongside clinical teams
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction, or project management

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to take ownership of key refurbishment projects within a large, technically complex hospital estate.
Working as part of an established projects team, you will deliver schemes that directly impact patient environments, infrastructure, and long-term estate performance-while developing under experienced senior leadership on a major healthcare contract.

Apply / Enquiry

We are also keen to speak with Project Managers working in healthcare or similar regulated environments who are open to understanding the current market.

All conversations will be handled on a strictly confidential basis.
