Resourcing Group are working alongside a lovely Maintenance division of a public sector landlord, who are expanding their team and would like to hire an experienced semi skilled labourer to join their team as soon as possible.

This role is offering someone the opportunity to join on a temporary to permanent basis, which means that we will payroll you for the 1st short period of time when you start with the contractor prior to being taken on directly.

The position involves working in the stores, transporting materials across the teams to different areas across South Somerset. The company has different depts, so you would be supporting the different teams. They do work in occupied and void properties, so the work itself isn't exclusively based outside and offers lots of variety. In addition, the opportunity to join a direct team of experienced people that could support you with progressing if you wanted to up skill and further develop in the future.

The role offers a tipper van to be driver and operated. This would suit someone familiar with driving larger vehicles as well as a full UK Driving license being critical.

The company will put the successful candidate through additional training as and when needed eg Asbestos Awareness and anything else that is required under health and safety to be carried out for the role.

You DO NOT need CSCS for this role. It's great if you have one, but you absolutely do not need one as this is not working on new build site.

Essential

• Full UK driving license
• Experience in a similar environment - they don't mind if you have been working on a construction site, rather than with in maintenance, but experience with in the built environment is really important.
• Experience of driving a company vehicle.
