About the role
Job Purpose:
To maintain outdoor spaces such as parks, estates, and commercial grounds in a clean, safe, and presentable condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and basic pruning
- Weeding, planting, and general upkeep of flower and shrub beds
- Litter picking and removal of debris
- Operating basic grounds maintenance equipment safely
- Carrying out seasonal tasks such as leaf clearance and gritting
- Reporting site issues or hazards to supervisors
Requirements:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance (desirable)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically fit and reliable
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
- Full UK driving licence (MUST)
