About the Role:

Are you an innovative Computer Science & IT specialist looking for a rewarding position in Mid Essex? A forward-thinking secondary school in Witham, supported by a leading Multi-Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated teacher to deliver Computing and IT across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (including GCSE Computer Science and vocational IT). You will join a well-resourced department featuring modern computer suites and digital learning tools. Strong classroom and IT suite behaviour management are crucial to maintaining focus and online safety, alongside the ability to adapt coding and technical concepts so learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) can access the curriculum with confidence.

Situated within walking distance of Witham train station, the school provides straightforward travel links via the A12 corridor from Chelmsford, Braintree, and Colchester.

What You Need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).

• Proven track record teaching Computer Science, ICT, or Digital Applications up to GCSE level.

• Strong classroom control, IT suite management, and practical strategies for supporting SEN pupils.

• Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
