Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative on behalf of our client, a large global manufacturer. This is a full time position, operating on a rotating shift pattern for a duration of 6 months.

Job Details & Compensation:

• The rotating shift pattern consists of an Early shift from 6:00 am to 14:30 pm, and a Back shift from 13:30 pm to 22:00 pm.

• The position is based entirely onsite in Perth, Scotland.

• The hourly pay rate is £13.20 (£15.84 including shift allowance)

• Overtime opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities:

• You must establish and maintain the standards on your shift for safety, quality, appearance, and attendance/cover.

• A core duty is to operate, maintain, changeover, and troubleshoot equipment.

• You will set daily direction in your operating areas through the effective use of tier meetings and handovers.

• You are expected to lead the troubleshooting of open barriers to find the root-cause.

• You will take accountability for the results and the decisions made in your operating areas during your shift.

Candidate Requirements:

• You must demonstrate an ability and willingness to learn technical skills.

• Top skills required for this role include attention to details, good attendance, and being a strong team player.

• You must be able to communicate effectively within and between teams.

• The ideal candidate is self-starting and focused on developing their personal and technical skills.

Additional Information:

• Pre and post shift activities, such as gowning up or down, are required.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and will be provided by the large global manufacturer.
