We're currently recruiting for Highways Maintenance Operatives 🦺 to join a leading infrastructure contractor operating across depots throughout Surrey and Kent.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business that has recently secured a major long-term highways maintenance contract (10+ years) and is now expanding its workforce with skilled and dedicated operatives.

Whether you already have experience within highways maintenance or are looking to build a long-term career within the sector, full training and qualifications can be provided 📚

🛠️ What you'll be doing:
✔️ Pothole patching and carriageway surface repairs 🛣️
✔️ Drainage maintenance and structural repair works
✔️ Responsive repairs and reinstatement activities
✔️ White lining and verge maintenance 🌱
✔️ Operating machinery including pneumatic drills, compactors, and tarmac rollers 🚜
✔️ Kerbing, ironwork, and drainage installations
✔️ Working safely around underground utilities and live highways environments ⚠️
✔️ Following Health & Safety procedures and maintaining safe working practices at all times 🦺

👷 What we're looking for:
* Previous experience within highways maintenance, construction, utilities, or a similar environment
* Good understanding of repair techniques and Health & Safety regulations
* NRSWA Units 1-9 and NHSS 12AB/12D qualifications (preferred)
* Full UK driving licence essential 🚗
* HGV Class 2 licence beneficial 🚛
* Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player
