A leading UK Facilities Management company is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team on a prestigious critical site in Central London, supporting a high-profile client environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrical Technician looking to join a well-established FM business offering long-term stability, exposure to a flagship site, and genuine career progression opportunities.
The Role
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a modern commercial building environment. You will work as part of a professional engineering team, ensuring all plant and electrical systems operate efficiently and safely while maintaining high service standards for the client.
The role will involve:
- Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and associated building services equipment
- Fault finding and repair of electrical systems and controls
- Supporting maintenance across HVAC, lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, UPS systems, and plant equipment
- Responding promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety procedures and site compliance requirements
- Updating maintenance records and completing all relevant documentation accurately
- Liaising professionally with the client and wider engineering team
Requirements
- Fully qualified electrically with City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience working within commercial building services or facilities maintenance environments
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
- Ability to work effectively within a shift team on a critical site
- Good communication and client-facing skills
Desirable:
- Experience working within critical environments such as banking, data centres, or high-profile commercial buildings
- HV/LV knowledge or switching experience

Continental shift pattern:
4 days on, 6 days off
4 nights on, 4 days off
3 days on, 3 nights on, 4 days off
Shift Times:
Days: 07:00 - 19:00
Nights: 19:00 - 07:00
Average 42 hours per week
1 hour unpaid break per shift

Up to £45,000 basic salary
£3,140 shift allowance
