HGV Class 1 Driver

First Call Contract Services have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £18.65. The role of Class 1 HGV driver is based in Chelmsford

** Some HGV Experiance required – DR10, IN10 or DG10 are NOT accepted **

no assessment required – but driver induction will be on first day.

Shifts for HGV Class 1

• Thursday to Sunday – 10-12 hous working
• 04:00 am starts
• 11:30 am starts
• 16:00 pm starts
• 19:00 pm starts
• 00:00 pm starts
• Between 2-5 drops per day

Pay:

• Days £18.65 ph
• Nights 10pm – 04:00am £23.31
• Bank Holiday £27.98ph

Main Duties of Class 1 HGV driver:

• Multi Drop Deliveries to stores 2-5 per day
• unload pallets into stores and collecting empty pallets with good customer service skills.
• wait for collections at DC – can use faciities on site.
• breaks are paid
• 21-75 plate vehicles
• must be confident at backing up due to location of bays
