The School of Psychology and Neuroscience are seeking to appoint a fixed-term teaching-focussed academic until 31 st July 2028 . The successful candidates will join a growing team of teaching-focused academics with a focus on our suite of Postgraduate Clinical/Applied Neuropsychology programmes

What will you be doing?

The successful candidate will contribute to the planning, delivery, and support of teaching across our Neuropsychology postgraduate programmes , working with the programme management team to ensure successful delivery and student satisfaction . The main purpose will be to provide the highest quality support for students and staff through teaching, tutorial support, administrative support, marking, and taking on special administrative projects to enhance our curriculum and student experience.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who shares our passion for innovative and inclusive teaching and a compassionate approach to mentoring students. We are keen to invite individuals to apply with experience of successfully supporting a diverse range of students and experience of the British Psychological Societies Neuropsychology accreditation standards. You must have experience supporting students in an academic setting, preferably postgraduate taught students. You have the ability and enthusiasm to engage effectively with professional, clinical, and academic staff and work independently to organise your own schedule. Experience of working with colleagues outside of the university in an academic setting is highly desirable. You can demonstrate knowledge of culturally inclusive teaching practice, have experience supporting neuropsychology programmes, or closely related discipline.

Salary: £44,746 - £50,253 per annum
