PPA Teacher

Provide Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PPA Cover Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the DN9 area, working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (KS1/KS2).
This is a part-time position, working 3 days per week, offering an excellent opportunity for a Primary Teacher to provide PPA cover across different year groups and subjects within a supportive and well-structured school environment.

The school has a strong focus on pupil progress and inclusive learning, with a collaborative staff team and a positive learning culture. This is an excellent opportunity for a Primary Teacher looking for a varied role where they can work across KS1 and KS2 while becoming an integral part of the school community.

PPA Cover Teacher Role Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 primary curriculum
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A flexible, adaptable and proactive approach to teaching
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

The Successful PPA Cover Teacher Will:

• Provide PPA cover across KS1 and KS2
• Deliver engaging lessons across different year groups and curriculum subjects
• Follow existing lesson plans and school schemes of work where provided
• Plan and deliver lessons where required
• Adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs and abilities
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
• Monitor pupil understanding and provide appropriate feedback
• Work collaboratively with class teachers, teaching assistants, SENCO and school leadership
• Ensure continuity of learning while providing PPA cover
