Duration: 4 weeks initially, with the possibility of an extensionWe are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our client's team in Swansea on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver goods to customers across Swansea and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload the van safely and efficiently.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Follow planned delivery routes and schedules.
- Obtain proof of delivery and complete relevant paperwork accurately.
- Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
- Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company procedures.
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Previous van driving or delivery experience is desirable.
- Good knowledge of Swansea and the surrounding areas.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit, with the ability to load and unload goods.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
- £12.71 per hour.
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm.
- 4 weeks' work initially, with the possibility of an extension.
- Consistent working hours.
- Full training and induction provided.
- Support from the Pertemps team throughout your assignment.
