Maintenance Technician

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well established manufacturing business for a Maintenance Technician to join their site engineering team. This role is open to candidates who are newly qualified or early in their engineering career, with a strong training and development programme in place. You will gain hands on experience across a range of electrical and mechanical systems, with the opportunity to develop over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across site equipment
• Support reactive maintenance and breakdown response
• Assist with fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
• Perform repairs and support ongoing engineering improvements
• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Follow all health and safety procedures

About You

• Apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification (electrical or mechanical)
• Open to newly qualified candidates or those with some hands-on experience
• Basic understanding of maintenance principles
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Proactive and reliable approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
